Karen Villa Renovation
About this project
This project transformed a dated 1980s split-level home in Karen into a modern, efficient living space. The scope covered complete structural reinforcement, electrical rewiring, plumbing replacement, and an interior redesign across 2,400 square feet.
Our team split the work into two parallel tracks — structure and interior — so that once the shell was sound, cabinetry, lighting, and finishes could move in without delay. Load paths were reassessed by a structural engineer before any wall came down, and the original stone facade was retained and repointed rather than replaced.
The result is a home that keeps its footprint and character while performing like a new build: better insulation, a reconfigured kitchen and living area, and a services layout that will not need touching again for decades.
